Need BOM ideas for quilt group

The woman in charge of the BOM of my quilt guild has resigned and now I am scrambling for ideas. I would love to do a funky chicken BOM but need copyright free patterns. I have no artistic ability at all. I am open to other BOM ideas that are copyright free. Can you wonderful helpful ladies tell me how to go about this.

They have a LOT of cute chicken patterns and they are free :D:D:D

Also coloring pages use them for applique :wink: Have everything you can imagine :lol:

I just got through doing the Funky Neighborhood block swap and it was fun. No patterns needed. Just have everyone make a certain size block and go from there. If you check out that thread you'll see some of the posts of blocks.

Are all of your members on the net? If so there are many patterns available, and you are not violating a copy right if you each download your own patterns.
