Being a bum and watching the Little League World Series. Can't stand pro-sports, but you give me college or even better, Kids, and I can set here for hours

Working on nine patch blocks for a charity quilt and Bonnie Hunter cheddar bowtie blocks and Floribunda blocks. I just switch off from one to another to keep things interesting.

Spent the morning ripping out FMQ stitches (supposed to be a star, but they looked much more like a retarded starfish.) Decided to leave the center of the blocks blank. Then work. Tomorrow I erase the star marks and join the binding strips.

Paper piecing a awareness quilt. Sweeping, piecing, sweeping, peicing...I make such a mess when PP. My socks look furry from all the thread and snippets of fabric. I thought I would have the top done by tonight but think again, maybe by tuesday night. Well thats what I'm shooting for.

Spent the day running around helping my son....between him and the vast amount of weeds in our garden, quilting has sadly taken a backseat...I am determined to try and set 1 hour aside for quilting each day and maybe 15 mins on the board...Otherwise I'm in danger of losing the plot!

Well, I'm not wishing for winter just yet, but I am thinking about fall. I'm thinking and planning on what I want to make for fall. I've got new coasters, placemats, a tablerunner, hot mitts, and toss pillows for the couches in mind to make within the next three weeks. I best get busy!
