What's you newest obsession?

I am obsessed with every new pattern I see. lol. I have several quilts in various stages of construction; 6 tops finished and ready to quilt, 12 more have all the blocks completed and are waiting to be sewn together, a king size log cabin waiting for borders and a free form quilt that is about half done. As a friend said, I have SADD, Sewing Attention Deficit Disorder. I jump from one project to another. I don't know whether there is a cure for this condition, but I don't care---I'm having fun. lol

All of a sudden I am finding myself drawn to house quilts. I really have never been into the pictoral type quilts but I can't get these little houses of of my mind. It started with: http://www.quiltersstation.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=34
Then went to: http://www.quiltedstrait.com/shop/pr...quilt-pattern/
I have so many quilts on deck and the Ryokan pattern is expensive but I have a huge stash of Japanese Taupes (and growing) so what better use for them? I see the quilt part of the little houses in Oakshott. I dream about this sometimes!

I really want to make a bird quilt all of a sudden. Ive been seeing these cute little birds on fabric lately! I must find all I can... I mean like sitting on the floor at Joanns and indivdually sorting through the fat quarter bins. Yeah Im an addict for sure I also want to try this bird applique I saw recently. Just curious what other people are into right now
You can find them at www.ShabbyFabrics.com They release a new one around the 7th of each month. They are going to be so cute! There will be 12 blocks plus the finishing instructions. The patterns will be available through March of 2013. OR you can purchase them all from them or buy the BOM kit with everything included.
I've just been downloading the free patterns so I can use my own fabrics. I'll probably use a wider variety of colors than the pastels they have been using.

My obsession is collecting patterns...I must have gazillions and still looking for more freebies. I have also purchased $$$$ of patterns I'll probably never live long enough to use. I did the same thing with Machine Embroidery designs, Stained Glass designs...a hard drive full of patterns...I need help! But I'm having a blast. I want to do it all.

Seminole piecing!
I love the precision, making the various design strips and bands, and then moving it all around until I get a "fabric" that does what I want it to. I am working on a set of quilted "nesting" cat dolls and plan to use fabric that I Seminole pieced. Most of my family graduated from FSU so the last "cat" is going to be a tiny orange and blue UF "mouse.
There's a "file strip" in progress. I am making it of all the left over pieces of the design bands I make so I can see what was most successful and the color combinations I like the most.
I love to sew and thank heaven for all of you!
