Half and half, sometimes I steam, sometimes I don't, depends on the fabric.

That is the way I do it too. I bought a new iron a few months ago and it has never had water in it. I like Best Press better than steam. After reading on here about diluting it half with water, I've been doing it that way and it works fine.
