Love autumn colors, but I almost always use some black in each quilt I make, too. I just realized when I made a gift for a coworker that while I have a 'blue' section of fabrics, I had no turquoise in it (although its a pretty color), and also realized I don't have gray (don't care for the color). I have just about everything else, though, and use it! I need to find a few quilts that I can use up lots of florals, though -- I have too many of those (collected over the past 40 years).....

I'm a real fan of teal and purple, my "signature" colors, but I also like blue and white quilts, and batiks - well I go nuts over batiks. Mostly I see a fabric I love and have to buy it, even if I have no specific plans for it, and I have a huge stash to prove it, although now that my husband is disabled and I'm on Social Security, I'm glad I have that stash - my own "fabric store" so to speak.

I am going to make a blue quilt for the guest room I am slowly getting all the blues together for the room, gotta have the right colors for it all. After that I will make our room a quilt, thinking about a few lap quilts for the frontroom would be nice as well.

Depends on my mood..red and black if things are going poorly..greens anew blues otherwise. I started a quilt in January..gray back ground with black and navy for accent. It took some thinking to rescue that one!
