Wheeled case for new machine

Wheeled case for new machine
I bought a Bernina 740 and I think we are going to be very happy together. 😍 Now I need to find a case on wheels for it. I refuse to pay $400 for the Bernina tote. I know someone here will be able to direct me.
TIA.

before Hancock's went out of business, I purchased 3 rolling totes for machines for my DD and my machines. The larger machine has to be put in on the diagonal, but since it rarely travels that works ok. I think JoAnn's carries them too.

I just ordered a 1XL Tutto for my Bernina Artista at Quilt Fest. I have a medium one that my Featherweight fits in in the case and I wanted one that my Bernina would fit in in the case. They're a bit pricey but I really like them and they have a pretty good warranty or the wheels and such. The thing that you have to realize when you used their online guide as to what size you need is that the size they tell you fits your machine fits only the machine, not the machine in the case.

Not sure the measurements will work but JoAnn Fabrics has this one on sale. You might be able to keep an eye on it and wait for a better deal.

I bought the XL t*utto for my machine so they will fit in through the top. I didn't want to load from the front of bag down on the floor. It's easier to drop down from top. Check your machine measurements and compare the "B" brand tote so you have a reference for size needed.
I still need a larger bag for the D*ream machine as it only fits in from a front load point. The other factor is that I can't load bag and machine into my truck as it's too heavy. The bag is used in sewing room to store my machine.
Make sure the bag can fit into your vehicle easily.
Here is a size chart for reference. There is usually a couple of sales each year for them.

I bought the rolling tool bag from Harbor Freight for $25. Make sure you use the coupon from their ad. You might get it cheaper. It's about 20 x 10 inches with a zipper top. Inside has some pockets to store sewing notions and tools. I don't know the size of your machine but it's worth a look.

It will probably depend on whether she wants to have her machine in the case inside the Tutto or not. There's a chart online (I think on the Tutto website) that tells you what size Tutto you need for your machine, but that size is for the machine only, not the machine in the case.
