many years back DH had his studio in a separate building from our house and he didn't use it as often in the winter months.

even though the studio was a few short steps from the main house - he just didn't want to make the trip.

so long story short, we sold the house and purchased another so that his studio and mine could all be located in the main house.

I too, hate when life gets in the way of art and quilting and other hobbies. I had one day where I just HAD to do something, so went into my sewing room and cut a few pieces of fabric. It helped. I am working on a wall hanging, but have so much other household things to get done..... Need more hours in a day.
