In the free motion quilting video a plexiglass extension for my sewing machine was highly recommended. I checked my catalogs and didn't find any listed. Suggestions on the best place to buy one will be greatly accepted.

You might also be able to get a cabinet to put your machine in to for cheaper at a second hand store. I know by me you can get a nice wooden cabinet that will make your machine level with the table surface for about $15-$20.

I'll say it is - our price is generally $150 - $250...sorry to harp about the price so much, but it certainly makes a difference to whether you can afford to get started or not.

I just had a look at the website. The table may be a good price but the postage to Australia for the 18 x 24 is $92.44

If you are handy, you can make one. I'm almost positive I saw here someone who made one.

I know I saw somewhere that someone made one here though.
Here is a thread talking about a particular computer table used for sewing... several people got these...

She used 3 pieces of pvc and puzzle pieced then taped them together. It's rather ingenious and incredibly creative.

Here, someone used a desk that was free to make one. She gives a bit of details on how she did it...
