Earlier today I saw a scrappy quilt using very bright colors and white.It was made with 2 nine patch,one 16 patch and one chevron. Can't find it again . Trying to figure out how big the blocks are.

But read through the entire thread as there are different ways to construct the block, although the most two basic components are a 4-patch and HST block.

Thanks! I couldn't remember the name of the quilt. I have some bright scraps and charms that would be perfect. Any idea what size the blocks are in the original?

MTS has given you the link and suggestions to read the whole thread for the info that came out in it.

Re your question about block size .... you could do whatever size you wish as it's all proportional. Start with how small do you want to work with for the smallest squares?
