I think stretching (or let’s call it ‘easing’) a slightly too small block to fit a slightly larger one, is something everyone does but nice ladies don’t talk about it in polite quilting company.

And how many sewing machines do you all have that you need a rule to only use one on a given project?

When making kaleidoscope quilts, I sew 8 wedges into a circle using my own self-made template. One time I uses scant SA and it would not lay flat! So went back to actual SA.
