a rolled edge needle plate for a White Speedylock 234DE? I have been to the official White website, and most of the links when I do a search. I am getting very frustrated. I guess this machine is no longer in production but surely there is someone out there with this part. I bought the machine from a friend that needed some money but she didn't get the needle plate when she bought the machine. I love the way the machine runs smooth and quiet. If you have any ideas where I should look I would greatly appreciate you assistance. Thanks in advance, Grammie2twins

Oh, we are expecting another grandbaby in August. Soon I will be know as Grammie2twins+1. We are so blessed!!!

Yes. From what I can gather it is an older machine White is no longer making. I'm hoping someone on the board can give me some ideas where to look.

I have found all the parts I could want for my old (1951)Singer machine on Ebay, and they are usually very reasonably priced.

Grammie, you may have to use a generic foot. Just make sure that you get the correct one. It will either be a 'high-shank' or a 'low shank' foot. Try here:

http://www.sew4less.com/contact.php

or here:

http://sewandserge.com/ I have ordered from here and they have unusual thing.

Call or e-mail them and ask questions. They should be able to help.
