Default Where to sell quilting/sewing items?

Is there a site where items are posted for sale? Or if you are looking to buy an item?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

You have to be a senior member to sell on this site. I would suggest you try selling on eBay. It is not difficult once you understand who gets what when your item sells. Here are the section of the board to look at:

In Search Of ...

If you are looking to buy something here:

Items For Sale or Trade

Yahoo has a group called SewItsForSale. You can post buy and sell items there. I have had some success using this site.

I have used Craig's list in our area without any trouble. One friend of ours is a police chief, he allows people to meet in station parking lot to try to ensure safety! I sold my diamond through Craig's list to a couple who were very nice. My DH is always home if I have anyone come to our house.

I check craigslist all the time for sewing machines (don't know why, I certainly don't need one but you never know when that special one will come up). Anyway, I checked this morning and saw an ad titled Sewing Needed. I was curious cause this is unusual. Should have known better. Opened ad and he states he wants ruffles added to underwear, and that he is a businessman with a fondness for lingerie.

Really? Never know what might pop up these day.
