I purchased Kimberly Einmo's class when it was on sale for $14.99 and I love her teaching! I plan to buy at least one of her books-haven't bought any precuts yet, I cut my own 2 1/2 inch strips, but I'm definitely going to purchase a batiks jelly roll.

Also check Cozy Quilts - they have a ton of patterns and videos - www.cozyquilt.com . There are several books that are from just 2-1/2" strips

My favourites for jelly rolls are Kim Brackett's Scrapbasket Sensations and Scrapbasket Surprises. I have other jelly roll books but these seem to have different patterns. I like how she also has instructions for cutting them from scraps as well.

Batik jelly rolls were used for the border. Much easier than buying all that fabric and cutting my own, especially when bought on sale!

Thank you for starting this thread! Getting started with my gifted jelly roll has been difficult. Will definitely find a good Jelly Roll book (and use my 40% coupoun and go to the websites given. Your ideas and input are great.

Oh, My Goodness, this is just an outstanding quilt! If you don't mind my asking, is the horse an applique, or is this a panel? I just love it!

I agree with Elaray about the Pam & Nicky Lintott books - right now I am working on a jelly roll quilt from the Jelly Roll
Quilt Sampler Book and I like each block that I make better than the one before it

Try a Google search! Just type in the words "free jelly roll quilt patterns" (leave off the quote marks) then sit back and start surfing.

Here's a great website: http://cheryl.thisbe.org/Patterns.html

An applique pattern from Toni Whitney enlarged to make a twin sized bed quilt. Lots of fun.
