Please advise me where I may obtain an "Attic Window" pattern for an appliqué that will be 5x7 in the window! I prefer not the "y" seam! Thank you in advance for responding to my post!

I don't have EQ, maybe someone else here can do an example for you. You can use a half square triangle in the corner instead of the y seam. If you look at this pattern, http://www.quilterscache.com/A/AtticWindowsBlock.html, if you continue the lines of the black square through the white on bottom, and pattern on right, you will see three solid color squares and the bottom right is a half square of the bottom and right colors. Once you see a diagram, you will see what I mean.
