THANKS! for this question. I never researched it but thought we were limited to white, black and 2-3 choices at JoAnne's. I HATE piecing backs.

Also try www.sewbatiks.com and www.batiks.com( when this one comes up select the Batiks Etcetera & Sew What)
Both sites carry wide backing batiks. I have ordered from both. :thumbup:

Haiks in Springfield, MO has the wide Tonga batiks backings for wholesale. You have to buy the entire bolt but at $7-8 a yard, it is worth it.

I have used a mail order and online place called Batiks Etcetera. I have always been pleased with their wide batiks.
