I want to make these for my bedroom windows. It would help keep my room warmer during the window. It's somewhere on my long list of quilts I want to make.

Was just reading about this on another site and someone said they attached velcro to their window moldings and velcro to their quilted window coverings. She just took them off each morning to let in the sun and then hooked them back up again in the evening or if it was cold. She also made them for her patio doors to keep the cold out in the winter.
