    If you can't get someone to cut a board, take your measurments to lowe's-homdepot's they willl help.
    You can also buy boards ready cut and then screw it
    down, make sure you can get your legs under it &
    screws into somthing very solid.

    Thanks for the picture. That is really nice. I have a butcherblock with winerack underneath in my kitchen. Can't drink wine anymore.(ulcer). The only thing that would hold me back is the space in the sewing/bedroom. But I will never throw it out, thanks to you.
