That's So cool!! I have never seen anything like that. Where ever did you find out about it? I've never seen hankies that look like that but then again I don't look at hankies. I'm missing out

Yes the butterflies are folded hankies. I use the whole hankie, folded & pessed, than appliqued it to the block.

I saw it on a quilting or sewing show about 8 yrs ago and then did the folding & pressing. I only appliqued 9 to blocks & put them away until now.
