Try aqua, it works well with both the pink & brown.

If you have a color wheel, the color opposite of the one you are using usually makes a good color to use..I was thinking of a bright teal or aqua, that would go good with both of those colors. LOL i just read the two post b4 mine and see great minds work alike.

I would make it a bright color, for sure. Either turquoise, bright yellow, lime or orange.

Have you thought of staying within the same colors but going a lot darker and or brighter, for instance, a raspberry would really set off a brown and lighter pink quilt

I agree, ghostrider. You are right on! I would go for the lime green "zip".
