Only for jackets, not for quilting.

I'm currently wearing an old, old pinkish rose colored chenille house coat that was my Mother's. It is still holding up nicely, and is probably at least from the 50s. She rarely wore it because it is so warm, she used to spend cold weather in Yuma so it is still good for a long time.

It makes nice pillows for actual use on the sofa, and of course would be nice as a lap robe, especially backed with fleece to match it. That would be really warm!!

I made this one for my mom. I love vintage chenille, and have made several baby quilts with it.

I'd love a pieced throw if it's anything except plain white. I am in a nostalgic mood lately. My Grandma had a lot of chenille.
