You will love it. I am making a baby quilt with mine now. I am machine piecing and might just try my hand a machine quilting it. It is small. I love my featherweight. It sews great and just "purrs". Little Kitten is her name. :D

Congratulations! I won an auction on eBay this week too. My featherweight was born the same year as me. I am anxiously waiting her arrival next week. Should we get our girls together for a playdate??

You're going to love it!! Have had mine since 1965, it was made in the 1940s. I've sewed many a stitch on that little machine.
