It is called the Longest Yard Sale or 127 Yard Sale. It starts in Michigan and ends in Alabama on Highway 127 South. I have been several years and it is great. I live in Kissimmee, Florida but my family is in Ohio so I go home for a visit the whole month of August and also take in the yard sale. It is usually the first Thursday thru Sunday in August. My girlfriend and I go and we always find all kinds of goodies and fill up the car with all kinds of great buys. I wasn't fortunate to find an old Singer, but I definitely will be on the look out next year.

I cant drive right now so my wife was doing the driving and I was whipping my head around trying to catch anything that looked like a sewing machine!! :lol: I would holler "Stop" and she would let me out and I would meander through the goodies while she parked the car and caught up to me. I think the fastest we drove down the Hwy was 15mph so it was not like I was causing any major traffic issues. Everyone was doing the same thing.
If you never been plan on going I think there is even a website dedicated to it so you know the route it goes.

I'm so thankful that God is answering our prayers for you Billy. I hope you continue to get better. So happy you had such an exciting outing. So just where is this yard sale held?? I know your looking forward to next year for sure.
