I would like to shoot for three blocks a month, one per week with a catch up week. Realistically, I don't know if I will be able to keep up that pace because I would like to do needle turn and I have several UFO's in the works. I would rather not have people drop out because they can't "keep up" so lets say that three blocks a month is a suggestion.

Oh where oh where did I put my book? I've been looking, haven't found it yet. If I buy another one I will find it.

I think that sounds doable. That way it leaves room for other stuff we all are involved in. Thanks again for doing this!

I'm starting to put together the guidelines for this SAL. Does any one who is interested have any suggestions? Or maybe if you've noticed something in a SAL that has worked particularly well or not worked at all. Opinions welcome!

If you're doing raw-edge appliqué, blocks 1, 4, 6, 7, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 27, 30, 32, and 33 have to be reversed if you want the pattern to look exactly like the photo.

I'm making my blocks a little bigger so they're less fiddly. I'm going to cut my fabric into 10 1/2" squares, trim to 9 1/2", finished size 9". To make the pattern bigger, I'm increasing the size by 130%.

Hope this is what you mean!

I have all the blocks made, machine appliqued and am on the embroidery. It is not hard or complicated. One of the easier quilts I have made. It was fun and really enjoyed it so far. Don't be afraid of it. You will love it.
