You are doing a great thing, a group of ladies from our local senior center have made quilts, hats and scarves for the kids at the childrens hospital close to us, I think you are all great, I do a little, but not as much as I would like, I pray for the ladies like you, you are all so giving of your time and talent

Awesome!

They also listed info for Quilts for Kids and my e-mail address.
Well in the afternoon of the article appearing in the paper -- I received several e-mails. One was from a Fabric Designer, who unbeknownst to me, lives a short distance from me. She donated all of her 2 yard samples that the fabric company sends her to me for future Quilts for Kids. Three plastic tubs full -- how awesome!!! Now to get off this quilting board and get sewing!

What a wonderful article.I don't make them for just
the kids. I make quilt tops for our church. There are
8 of us that meet on Thursday mornings. 2 of us make the
tops at home and on Thursday we back and tie them. Then
they go to Lutheran World Relief all over the world.
What a great feeling to know they are needed and
appreciated. How nice that they sent you fabric. Ours
is all donated too. Hugs, Sharon
