My preference is the 3rd one, too.

Picture #2 could be called a "controlled" scrappy. Not all scrappy is totally random.

I love your colors too. I made that quilt from MSQC in reds & white. Turned out really good. I didn't play around with the blocks though. just left it the X & O. I was thinking about Valentines Day when I made mine. Yours is going to be awesome

Love your color choice and arrangement. Looks like you had a lot of fun.

Two of my favorite colors in one quilt, I love it. I can see this as a cute baby quilt too.

Very pretty! I like the 3rd one best, but all are nice!

Beautiful. And don't you think this is perfect proof of why we need to have a design wall as one of our "tools"? I also agree with your choice of layout. Love it when a secondary pattern emerges right before our eyes.

Yes, I love my design wall. I have only been quilting 5 years, and the first year I didn't have a design wall. What a difference that makes!! My design wall just leans up against my closet, so I can move it. Very handy when I need in my closet.

I like your 3rd pattern very much. Good decision! (I don't find them easy, either).
