Hi there Sadismae... yes that is the same site that I found the video on and it looked so easy thought that it would be a quilt that I could use all my 6 inch scrapy squares up..
Thanks

QuiltnNan..you said you use a red glass to look at your fabric to see the value of the fabric.. HUMM not sure what I would be looking for...could you explain what to look for and would a clear glass do or does it have to be a red one? thanks so much for all the help....

If you have a camera that has an eye viewer, it really makes it easier to decide values. For some reason. the view screen doesn't do it for me.

Also looking thru the wrong side of binoculars works well.

I remember that we made a group project on the QB a while back and a lot of us just picked fabric from our stash. The common denominator was the background fabric (white). ALl those colors came together nicely, so a scrappy version with a unified background would look great IMHO.

Thanks Mim I'll try that and see if I can tell the value of the fabric...

I was looking up "Rhonda" this morning because a "Rhonda" has joined another group I'm in -- I found a thread Rhondas BOM -- and it is a perfect X and O design -- I think it was posted in July '10
Mim

It was not the same Rhonda
