Thread: Yard sale find

    only thing I found all day was this quilt top.
    She really believed in a scant 1/4 seam. I washed it and had to repair about 11 blocks (seams came out). But it is a pretty scrap quilt.

    Very pretty and especially for $10.00! Maybe you can Quilt over the top at the seams with a decorative stitch to secure the seams. That might be a lot of work though.

    Im glad you said that about the scant 1/4 seam. My teacher in my quilt class keeps telling me to make my seams scant but then my blocks come out uneven so I'm doing a 1/4 and now i have another reason to want to do a full 1/4 :)
