I did that once with my own stash. Washed for probably 2 weeks and Ironed it all. It added $10.00 to $20.00 to our electric bill. Then I gave a lot of it away to new quilters. A lot of the fabric was the "what was I thinking" kind. Reduced my stash and made several ladies very happy.

How do you handle the fraying that occurs when you wash the fabric? Do you stitch around the raw edges first????
