I think you're on to something.....taste changes. Sometimes if you re-purpose fabric, with a different color wave or just as you said a 2 color quilt (I'm real partial to white as the other fabric).....it looks like a totally different fabric.

Okay, now that you've used up your stash, my question is "What do you do if you need a bit of blue fabric for something?" Do you stop and go out and buy it?

I spent all of last week organizing all of my fabric and quilting supplies. Was shocked at just how much fabric I had. So no new fabric purchases this year until I make a serious dent in my stash!

I am right there in the same boat with you. I've been working on organizing, too. I have found some wonderful surprises.
