Ok, The other day I posted this topic..

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-80202-1.htm

About prices that went up at JoAnn's. I went to Walmart in another town today and found that they still have fabric. I was able to get fabric for my nieces quilt and the main fabric for my nephews.

The fabric that I got is the same and some better quality than at JoAnn's in my opinion. I will just have to make special trips there when visiting my family.

I think I will pick up one of the fabrics that I saw at JoAnn's, only b/c I'd like another fabric in the quilt. We will see. Lots of washing tomorrow.

YAY is right. My wm seems to be carrying better quality fabric these days. I'm glad you found one that still has fabric.

Hancock's still has their sale on until Wednesday and most all fabric was 50% off. I sent my husband and dil there today to get the batting for Dustin's quilt.

There are 2 WM's near here that still have fabric. They have always had some nice fabric, and some not so nice. Jo-Ann is marking everything up so they get regular price after the sale and coupon prices. The choice is not as wide as the Quilt shop and the price is the same. I just go to the QS, I know I can find what I need there. My local QS is The Door Mouse, there is so much fabric there if you can't find the exact piece you want there is something that is close and I've found even better choices. I'm waiting till their after Christmas sale. http://www.thedoormouse.com/index.html
