Cool Murphy's Law. As soon as I put myself on a fabric diet.....

Missouri Star Quilt Company had to send me an email with their Daily Deal.

It was so gorgeous I could not resist. They must have a Borg working there - Resistance is Futile!

An then, I had to buy some matching fabric for a border! And some solids as a break between prints.

Then I had to cool off the credit card.

MSQC - shame on you, I'm on a diet! I bought their 10" tumbler template last time so I'm torn between doing a disappearing 9 patch or a tumbler quilt. Hmmm. The layer cake is so pretty I may not be able to cut it up so it looks like I will probably do the tumbler quilt. HeHe

I've just recently discovered them and their wonderful daily deals. It's getting so bad I don't have to pull out the credit card anymore -- I've got the numbers memorized!!! Just enjoy !! Bur you do have to work to get that $5 shipping a bargain too. Love them.

My fabric came today! It's absolutely gorgeous! I bought a layer cake for half price when it was the daily deal:
http://www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/detail/11718
And if you look at the bottom row, third from left, of the fabrics in the layer cake you will see the blue swirling fabric that I bought for the borders.
I also bought Bella solid black for accent fabric.

Any one know how color fast the Bella black is? Since I don't want to prewash the layer cake, I don't plan on prewashing the rest of it but was wondering if the black will run when I wash the finished quilt.

Well, this morning I wanted that cute little Cock-A-Doodle-Moo charm pack they had on sale for $2.95. Of course, I somehow ended up with $102 worth of stuff in my cart (LOL!). Now I will anxiously await the big package that's coming to me... and all for a $2.95 charm pack!
