Ha! By the time I found my picture, this idea had already been mentioned.

I bought the pattern for the same reason. When a designer has been kind and gracious enough to offer several patterns free, I want to support her in any way I can. And this is a super pattern, well worth the price!

Thank you sash and QuiltE for your suggestions. I will cut fat quarters and go from there. It will be easier just to follow the instructions then. Yes, QuiltE, it does give dimensions but I am really bad at math. I have a lot of interruptions too as my 3 granddaughters live with me so I try and study the pattern but there is no quiet time in the house.

I agree!! This is a great pattern...I wish I could remember who posted a picture of this quilt, but they had added a giant flower applique...it was just so cute!!! It's not that much... go get you a YBR!!!

Jordan: You are probably overthinking on the pattern. Just follow the instructions one by one. It all works out. I'm on this YBR right now for the fourth time; three baby quilts and one throw. Baby quilt only takes six fat quarters and no background fabric; only borders, if you choose. I berth the quilt so there is no binding, either. Just top stitch around the edges and stitch in the ditch for quilting. I love it.
