I made one in blue and yellow about five years ago. Have the fabric ready to make another in 30's.

Me too, at least that many!! I've taught the class, have also made it rag style by putting a 9 1/2" square backing and a 8 1/2" square piece of cotton batting in between each block, sew an "X" from corner to corner, then sew blocks together with a 1/2" seam allowance.

It's my favorite pattern, used Mary Englebreit fabrics and made one for each season. Best use of 6 fat quarters ever. I also like to use chenille fabric for the borders and backing with no batting. Nice and cuddly!!

Love that blue and yellow one.

Ok, I guess I had better put this on the to get list. If it is as easy as the Turning Twenty is, it should be a breeze.

Hey Leslie, I remember when you made that quilt. Your daddy's cute.

I bought the pattern to make it, but now I can't find what I did with the pattern. It's here somewhere.

Yellow brick road was the very first quilt I ever made and I made it in King size! This was about 8 years ago. Hubby still uses it everyday. It is falling apart now, but that is only because at the time I thought a 1/4 inch seam was very optional (some seams ended up being less than 1/8”!!) But it is a very easy pattern for a beginner and you will love it!

Cheers!
