Oh my gosh! I got the willies just reading your post...I can't imagine how much that hurt!!

uh, been there, done that. Only went through a small portion of skin on my pinky (don't ask!!).

Get x-rays asap. I did that. After stinging stopped I pressed on it felt OK. Held a super strong mag. on my finger, nothing. Went to my quilting group next day & sewed all day. Just before I left there I told my friend what had happened. She convinced to to go for x-rays & sure enough a part of the needle was in there. It was near the nail bed of my pinky as well.

That is always a fear! I Have come close a few times myself. I hope it heals soon...take some pain reliever..and take a break!
