I have two largish boxes. Right now I'm stuck in the dining room. My mother in law was a professional tailor. She passed away about two years ago. My husband has been promising me that he will get out her sewing cabinets from storage and put them in the extra room we have. I'm not holding my breath.
We could come kick start him for you. LOL

I have joined the addiction group. I started quilting less than a year ago and here I am today with stacks and stacks of material and ideas. I purchased a Babylock Quilt Plus about 5 months ago and love it. I still have to much to learn but I am enjoying the ride.

Hello Pam, and welcome from North Carolina. This is the best quilting site ever - wonderful people with so much knowledge, and they are willing to share with everyone. Enjoy the board and we'd love to see your quilts. And yes, 5 already completed is fantastic.

Hi Ladies...I've been a "lurker" for quite awhile, but decided to register so I could make my own comment on this one.

Welcome, from one Newbie to another!

It's so nice to read everyone's comments about the addiction of quilting...that high you get when you find some awesome fabric, you don't know what you're gonna do with it, but you buy and love it anyways. The way I love to look at Quilt sites, download, and print patterns, cherish my quilting magazines, go to quilt shops (each one is so unique),and the best thing is the friendships you find along the way...I love it all!

"Only a Quilter would spend more
hours sewing several hundreds of buttons on a quilt to
embellish it, but wouldn't take five minutes to replace
a button on a pair of pants."
