When you come home to find a purple bin at your door filled with fabrics. After weeks asking, finally someone comes forward and confess that they saw it at a garage sale and thought you may enjoy it. And she was right.

Or when your neighbor says that he likes the humming sound of the machine late at night. Such thin walls!

during a meeting you notice the lovely patterns in the other ladies clothes and try to remember the name of the block it reminds you of

Your car has a bumper sticker that says "I brake for quilt shops"

Or when you're at the thrift shops hoping to find a fabulous fabric find but are thrilled when you find a shirt, skirt or dress with a design on it you know would work great in your next quilt project.

you go to the quilting store & it's easier to pick out the quilting accessories that you do NOT have...

When you spend all week thinking about what you are going to sew on the weekend mulling over the list in your head, and cant wait for the weekend to come so you can disappear into the sewing room for hours and hours. Needless to say, no dinner gets cooked on weekends.lol

When you look at a picture in a magazine, book, catalog and automatically wonder if there's a fabric like that or how to make that into a quilt.

A customer was copying some pictures from a book on ancient mosaics and I saw a picture (of a ceiling no less!) that made me want to go find that fabric!

Believe it - I did that the very first time I made a pieced quilt. I ended up with Antique Tile from Quilter's Cache. Golly, I thought I was the only one! Edie
