Instead of sleeping I plan my next quilt. It's good to have friends in the same boat!!

Dito I have done that. What's worse is that you spend your stashed cash that your DH didn't know you had, so you have to hide what you bought for a time & can't even play with it. So frustrating.

You know you're a quilting addict when you're going along with your husband on a business trip and you check ahead for a quilt shop in that city, and then schedule a class and take your sewing machine along on the trip "for something to do while he's in meetings"! We drove from Central Texas to Indianapolis, I took my machine, and had a wonderful time in the class I had scheduled learning how to make scalloped borders. And I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

I was sure glad to read that reply.2 years ago I made our oldest grandson and his new wife a wedding quilt and used the design from our upstairs bathroom floor for the pattern.When I told my husband,he just laugh.
