Watching a movie you miss what is going on screen because the room they are in has a quilt hanging on the wall or on the bed.

If you look at the sunset and think what a beautiful quilt that would make.

<groan> I do this! And travel 40 minutes to one thrift store where the owner LOOKS for vintage fabrics for me, then calls me when she finds them....

You might be a quilter if any of your numerous cats or dogs is named any of the following: "HST", "FMQ", "LQS", or "OBW" -- or --

    "Baby" (babylock)
    "SingSing" (Singer)
    "Vicky" or "Leif" (Viking)
    "John", "Cadfiel" or "Sissie" (Brother)
    "Harriet" (Free)
    "Nina" or "Berni" (Bernina)
    "Jan" or "Naomi" (Janome)
    "Homie" (New Home)
I was named after a sewing machine... no wonder I love to sew!!! Nina
Can I guess that your name is pronounced NEENA? MY DD is a N-EYE-NA.

If you notice any quilts in television programs or movies! It seems like you can find one in every movie you watch!

You might be a quilter if you look at "Google Earth" for design inspiration. I can go anywhere that way, and stay within my budget.

If you converge (Sp?)on your local Harbor Frieght store and buy every carpet blade in the store! Leaving all the poor local carpet layers waiting on back ordered blades!

When you go to a quilt show and while admiring the quilts you say,"I have some of that fabric, and that fabric" LOL

When you go in any store and immediately head for the craft and fabric section.

You wake up in the morning smiling and your DH asks what you're smiling about (he thinks its him) but really you're smilling because you just came up with the right pattern for the fabric you bought last night.
