You buy shirts, dresses or skirts with no intention of wearing them but to cut up and make quilts with.

If you are going on vacation and the first thing you do is look for quilt shops in the area.

<groan> I do this! And travel 40 minutes to one thrift store where the owner LOOKS for vintage fabrics for me, then calls me when she finds them....

I was mentally making quilts out of the nurses scrubs while spending 3 days/nights at the hospital with my Mom last week :D:D:D
