When you have a lint roller in your vehicle to remove the threads from your front and behind before you walk into the store.

Yeah! I AM a quilter. DD got a new chicken (soft dove grey, chocolate brown and white spots) Guess what my first words were? YEP "Those are beautiful colors for a quilt...". took lots of pictures of her. I am gathering those colors now! Are we all crazy or what? When traveling I go to LQS and just caress and smell those wonderful bolts. The clerks just smile and nod. THEY KNOW ..........

I notice that I always preface every introduction with the need to mention I'm a quilter and inquire if they quilt too. I've sure meet some great quilters or heard interesting stories about family members who quilt that way.

You know you're a quilter when you keep buying fabric and patterns even though your sewing room is packed up because of a house fire, and you don't know when it will be unpacked.

I have always admired the sight of fields from an airplane. I have wondered why someone doesn't make some fabric to look like that. Would make a very nice skirt or shirt. And especially a quilt!

OMG! Seeing patterns in the floor tiles. My quilting friends and I do that all the time now, including looking at carpeting on the floor! Quilting really does open your eyes to the world.

I'd like to add a couple to the list to the list....

Looking at photos of scenery and thinking...that would make a beautiful quilt!

Looking at birds and wanting to find that specific red, blue, yellow of the feather colors.
