I guess I'm a stitcher/quilter? I enjoy making blocks and putting them together into a flimsy. I hand quilt some of my tops (maybe 1 or 2 a year) but other tops will be sent out to my favorite longarmer. The ones sent out I will finish the binding by hand.

Me too. Way too much fabric.

Definitely a quilter! Love playing with and matching up fabrics. Love designing art quilts. I finish one before going on to next, but I am always in planning mode.

Neither. I guess I'm a "fabric buyer/project planner". I REALLY overdid it during the all Ohio Shop Hop and I have projects galore! I probably should join the Fabric Moratorium, but since the fabric all fits into the sewing room, I'm not ready to admit I have a problem . I think I enjoy the free motion quilting as much as I enjoy the piecing, I just wish I were better at it.

Any suggestions?
A suggestion - check with a local guild and offer them as donation quilts, or maybe advertise them on Facebook Marketplace.

Stitcher, definitely. Bad neck and shoulders mean that pushing/pulling/tugging/shoving through a domestic machine isn't going to happen for me. I have no interest nor room for a LA. So...

I happily quilt by check. I live in an area where we have several great quilters who do all sorts of quilting - custom, panto, ruler work, etc.

It was mostly a lack of space/equipment that held me back but I do not have the vision of artistry to include the 3D aspect of quilting to my 2D projects. Some people can look at a top and see all sorts of possibilities in the top. Me, I can look at a pretty horrible collection of scraps and see the beauty of the top in there
    I second this..
Also, I don’t want UFO’s so most are quilted by check. Unless it’s art, then the quilting is creative.
