I have one top done waiting to be sent to the quilter. I just like to piece the top, I really have no interest in quilting it myself. I leave that up to someone who knows what they are doing.

The only tops I have that are not quilted were made by others or put together by me from other people's blocks etc. My favorite part of quilting is collecting the fabric and handquilting. I love cheater's cloth and wholecloth. They allow me to get to the best part with the least amount of effort.

My favorite part of making a quilt is the quilting, so I don't have any tops laying around. I can't wait to finish the top so I can sandwich and get to the fun part (not that I'm very good at it, just like it).

I have to admit that I am a "piecer". Sandwiching quilts is my very least favorite part of quilting. I do complete a lot of quilts but I have a lot of toppers because they take up less space to store so I don't quilt them until I know who or what it is going to be used for.

I loooove quilting. Since I discovered basting spray (thanks to this board... makes sandwiching sooo much easier) and got myself a machine with a bigger throat, I've been flirting with the idea of making a FMQ wholecloth quilt. :)

So, definitely not a topper here. :D

Yes. Though I do finish a lot of my quilts, the quilting part is not my strong point. I have several tops hanging around just waiting for me to quilt them.

For all the toppers and piercers ----
I do longarming!! Love to piece, love to longarm. Do it for my customers, but also manage to get all mine done too.

If you need/want your tops quilted..... let me know.

I was a topper for years and have two super sized Rubbermaid bins full which I am now quilting since I only work part time. For years I stitched for a while every evening after my kids were in bed working on tops. Layering and pinning a quilt was just not a job to start late at night, so I just kept on making more tops. I'd quilt up two or three every summmer but the pile of tops grew faster than the finished pile. Now that I am home more my goal is to quilt one of these tops every month. This month I've managed to do three.

I have a friend who only makes one quilt at a time from piecing to binding...I think she is an alien!
