I try to finish it all before moving on. My husband is very supportive of me spending our very limited resources on fabric. I don't want that to end.

Only till I get inspired on how the back will be! Usually that doesn't take much time, but sometimes I get stuck. I made a back two years ago for one quilt top, but then decided that it wasn't the right one after all. I just finished a quilt top last month for my cousin, and that back I'd made was perfect for it!! >>happy dance

Yes I am a topper. I also know an alien. My MIL doesnt understand how anyone can start a quilt if she has one not finished. I love the process of making the tops but do not like the quilting. When I have extra money I take one to the LAQ. If I die before they are all quilted. The kids can decide what to do with them. They made me happy to make them, so I dont mind if they give them away or if they like one and keep it.

I am definitely a TOPPER. I love the creative process and sewing the top and even piecing the backing. But then I freeze about the quilting. I am so afraid of messing up all that work. I, too, have about 22 tops with backs waiting to be finished. But even worse....I hate binding. I don't mind attaching the binding, but the hand sewing is a definite turn off. Is there any hope for us?
