I am beginning to do a lot of machine appliqué quilt blocks and my scissors just don't work well. What are your favorite appliqué scissors? They need to be small enough to use while my block is in the frame on my machine.

i prefer the curved ones that came with my brother embroidery machine. they are sharp and work well in the frame.

I use squeezers for just about everything except cutting large pieces of fabric. They're sharp, small, and much easier to use than little scissors. I have them all over my sewing room, different brands, but they all do the same thing. You can get them with straight or curved blades, I prefer the curved.

For cutting applique pieces, I watched a segment on The Quilt Show that said the serrated blades work well. They hold the fabric as you cut.

Havel's serrated blade scissors. I can't loan them out at a class or workshop, I never get them back when I need them.

My favorite applique scissors are Dovo scissors. Hands down better than anything else I have purchased and used--many.

Karen Kay Buckley scissors, small .... my scissors are only 1 1/4" long from the metal screw where they pivot to the tip.
