Holy fabrics!! I wonder how they come up with prices like that? In January I sold a quilt for $300. Pattern: 9-patch, in colors of gray and dark red set in black sashing, queen size. Maybe if the pattern was more involved I would charge more.

I have the Melinda's dragon pattern. I made one before about 10 years ago that I gave to my son for his birthday. I have the pattern out again and am about ready to cut another one out. They take a little time to make but they sure turn out neat. I also have couple dragon quilt blocks I embroidery, these are my own drawings. I never thought of actually making a big dragon for a quilt, so something new to think about to do.

These are definitely show quality quilts that should be hanging in a public place or museum. Way too pricey for a bed - at least not mine. But, the prize money at some shows are about the same as what they want for these. I'd say, go for it.
