    Default Ziploc organizer

don't even know what to call it. ive seen Ziploc bags sewn on both side of fabric to make a pouch for quilting tools, crafts, cosmetics etc. the one im looking for uses plastic bags that have the zipper on top of each pouch but instead of sewing the bags down, where they would be sewn has 2 (not sure maybe 3) holes. you attach them to the pouch using Velcro strips. the bags are not just hole punched. they are manufactured w/the holes already there and it is reinforced. I don't know if I'm explaining myself clearly. but I know if anyone knows its the ladies on this board. tx.

The plastic bags don't hold up for long term, even the thicker freezer ones. It's best to make the bags from clear vinyl if you are going to the trouble of making an organizer.

I bought the clear pencil cases already with zipper and sewed those into a pretty fabric cover.

Are you taking about the zipper pouches for school notebooks? They have the grommets for fitting into the three ring binder and are fairly sturdy since they stand up to kids wear and tear. You can find them in the office supply section or the back to school displays.

I bought a case of 24 when back to school sales were going on. I got them for .50 each. Very sturdy. The grommets and zipper were worth more then .50. LOL They fit on a big scarf ring and that doesn't take up much room at all hanging on my peg board.

I thought the same things that the actual Ziploc bags wouldn't last that long.

I agree with onebyone. I make my own bags out of vinyl and they stand up to heavy use
