** Round Robin III Group # 7 Ladies Sew Lucky **

Barb, your quilt is done. I struggled trying to figure out what to do and when I saw a tutorial for the french braid knot corners I decided to try it. The gold really, honestly, isn't as mustardy bright as it looks. I thought the gold would be a good place for quilting and since I had the pink which matched the pink that Carol had already incorporated, I decided to go with it. I do hope you like it. As soon as I clean up some threads and get it packaged up, it will be on its way home.

Carol, Donna, Jodi and Judy,
Thank you SO much for the beautiful quilt top. It has come home to stay with me and it will be the most special quilt in my collection. I am touched, and love each and every one of you special ladies who went the extra mile and did this for me. Every part fits together with the whole, telling the story of a harmonious group and excellent quilters. You're all special to me. Thank you.

I am so glad you finally got it, Barb. It was a fun quilt to work on. And I am thrilled to have had the chance to work with you, Jodimae and Carol. If any of you ever want to do another RR, please include me.

It's a Quilt
Well, ladies, I want to thank you again for the lovely top. While I treasure it, I have found the best place ever for it to live. A very dear friend of mine is marrying soon to another dear friend. They run a bed & breakfast with lots of bedrooms and a fabulous yard full of gardens and flowers. I can't make the wedding, but this quilt will go in my stead along with all the warm wishes stitched into it by all of you. I can't think of a better home, and love the idea that this little piece just might warm up some weary traveller.
