Happy News!!! I got everything swapped over the weekend and my first batched sent to your homes today.

I packaged nearly all the rest this evening but ran into a problem...when I opened the set of padded envelopes I had ordered from USPS...they were NOT priority... They were like express or something wrong and more expensive... I "recycled" a few I had received from some of you, so some of you are getting recycled padded envelopes...I'll post names tomorrow of whose next to be mailed out - after I actually mail them. Maybe I'll also be able to get SEVEN more padded envelopes from my local PO and finish up with the mailing...

On another note... I've been super worried about the few of you that were in the way of "Sandy". I hesitate to mail your candy until I hear from you in a PM that your PO is up and you are able to receive mail.

Specifically: MathTeacher1980, Honchey, Cavmom and maebe42. You are in my thoughts and prayers for safety and warmth and a roof over your heads!!!

    Sheri,

I came through fine - no damage, just lots of leaves and branches down! The PO only missed one day of delivery during the worst of the storm.

I had the same experience with the wrong envelopes. I didn't even know there was more than one kind until I got the wrong ones! Frustrating!
Anyway, my PO told me to bring in the ones I couldn't use and they would use them, so at least I didn't have to throw any away.

Had a big bag of candy waiting for me when I came home! Was wondering if Barbarakibler23 is the same Barbara that I've swapped charm squares with from the Curious Quilter? Here's a small world I got a bag from Becky G aka quiltingdragon and she lives 2 seconds from me and we belong to the same quilt guild.

Love my big bag of candies and don't think I'm be in a diabetic coma tonight.

Oh I had no idea you were so close to quiltingdragon. I never looked at names, I just swapped. (20- 1,2,3...20) If you want a different trade, let me know.

AND I can't believe yall are getting them so quickly. LOVE my PO. I mailed 19 more packages today.

I'll mail the rest tomorrow in paper, not padded, envelopes. My tiny po didn't have padded, they were happy to take my express ones though....

My candy is here! I got candy from at least 6 states and Japan. Every new pack I open as a new favorite in it. I'm fabric fickle. Thanks for playing everyone.

One happy camper here! I've been in several swaps and was lucky enough to get sets from a lot of different members including JAPAN!
