I literally had to compose myself before I showed all of you these pics. I cried, said OMG, and husband did too!!dscf2254.jpgdscf2255.jpgdscf2256.jpgdscf2257.jpg Dabbler and I have been partners for many things on this board but not to this magnitude of a whole quilt. I have never been so happy with a swap than I am right now, fabulous colors, perfect piecing, wonderful quilting and the soft and yummy minky backing. Plus the hand made soaps which I love and have a hard time finding here.
I just can't thank her enough, I absolutely love love love this quilt. Thank you again Kristine, many many times.

Jaba; I'm so glad that you and your mister love the quilt - I enjoyed making it for you and I am so happy with the quilt I received in return; it's a classic beauty and I can't thank you enough - it's my first red and white quilt so it will always be extra special to me. I'll post photos tomorrow - camera is charging up now.

Simply stunning quilts!!! I'm still waiting to hear from a few of you. Need to know where you are and if you have mailed. If not, I need an estimated date of mailing!!!

Jaba, that is one gorgeous quilt! Dabbler great job, love the minky backing

I am ready to mail this weekend, just waiting to hear back from my partner. Need to know if she wants me to wash it or not. I used spray basting-does that need to be washed or can it be left alone???

I received my quilt from TheMamaHauser yesterday. It is simply incredible and I love it! The batteries are dead in my camera so pics will have to wait for some fresh batteries.

Mamawalsh received my quilt today, she says it's perfect but not as perfect and beautiful as I've seen on this thread. Ya'll have done some stunning jobs. I wish I could afford to have my quilts professionally quilted. I hand quilted Mamawalshes since i'm more confident with that. She will be mailing mine next week. Can't wait to open it and show it off.

Gannyrosie,

i applaude you for hand quilting it. It is not easy to hand quilt a quilt. I know i done it and realized i need 5 clones of me or 200 years of life to get any quilts done. That is why i appreciate hand quilted quilts. We all have our own comfort zone and i am sure you did a marvelous job.
