Dog has a broken pelvis. Has to wait until tomorrow for surgery. And they are supposed to be moving to Texas on Sunday. High stress time~

Oh my I am so sorry. Our dog was operated on both her sides about 3 weeks ago. Very rough first week by amazed at how well she is now doing. Just making the decision on if we should do it or not was complicated

Oh my goodness, sounds like you have your hands full Marisposa! So sorry to hear about the dog - everything will work out. The dog is where he needs to be and the GK are where they are loved. So, take a deep breath and try to "de-stress" - family comes first!!! No one is in a hurry on the Board . . . I promise those blocks will continue to "party hardy" and will be well rested and waiting around until you have your house in order again

* Thank you for your kind words. Yes it is "go-go-go" until I drop into bed, but I am keeping my joy!
The dog will be coming home today. Surgery to fix pelvis broken in 3 places has went well. The kids will also pick up the moving truck today. I'll be feeding ??? as well.
I'm hoping for a little quiet time somewhere this weekend. I want to get these blocks out when P.O. opens!

Hello all! Sorry I've been so quiet--been out of town, along with hurting my knee. But all is well!

A couple envelopes were mailed out today! Yay! More will be mailed out tomorrow if I can get to an open post office that is 20 miles from my home.
Such a nice variety of blocks everyone has made. Lots of fun designs!

Oh boy I am so very sorry to hear about your knee. I hurt mine some time ago and it has effected my productivity with my quilting and hosting swaps. (One swap I did with a cane and a knee brace!) I ended up having to buy one of those petal lifts from sewing with nancy to keep from blowing it out every time I was sewing! It really did work to help just in case you are interested. My knee isn't completely back to normal, but, I am able to sew with out being in so much pain.

I got the blocks in the mail today! Yay! Thanks so much everyone for such nice swap blocks. On another note, I can't believe I was the only one who made embroidery and applique blocks. I hope you girls like them anyways.
